Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through www.soundmoneycoach.online, operated by Digital Strategy SA (Registration Number: 2020/489336/07), trading as Sound Money Coaching. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. General Principle

We are committed to providing high-quality financial education and coaching services. Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are limited in scope and granted only in the specific circumstances set out below. Please review our products carefully before purchasing.

2. Digital Products and Downloadable Resources

Digital products — including ebooks, downloadable guides, worksheets, templates, and recorded content — are non-refundable once access has been granted or the product has been downloaded. This is because digital goods cannot be “returned” in any practical sense.

Exceptions may be considered where: (a) the product was not delivered due to a technical fault on our side, or (b) the product materially differs from its stated description. Requests under these exceptions must be made within seven (7) days of purchase.

3. Online Courses

Online courses are eligible for a refund under the following conditions, all of which must be met:

  • The refund request is submitted within seven (7) days of the original purchase date

  • You have not completed more than 20% of the course content

  • You provide a clear reason why the course did not meet expectations

Refund requests submitted after seven (7) days, or where more than 20% of the course has been completed, will not be granted except at our sole discretion.

4. Live Workshops and Webinars

For paid live workshops and webinars:

  • Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the event: full refund

  • Cancellations made three to seven (3–7) days before the event: 50% refund or full credit toward a future workshop

  • Cancellations made less than three (3) days before the event, or no-shows: no refund

Where we cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend the rescheduled session.

5. Coaching Programmes (One-on-One and Group)

Coaching programmes are booked on a per-session or per-programme basis. Due to the reserved nature of coaching time:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session: full credit toward a future session

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled session, or missed sessions: no refund or credit

  • Multi-session coaching packages: unused sessions may be refunded at the per-session rate (not the package rate) within 14 days of purchase, provided no more than one session has been used

Coaching fees are non-refundable after 14 days from the date of purchase, regardless of whether sessions have been scheduled or used.

6. Membership Subscriptions

Where we offer recurring membership subscriptions:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date

  • We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, unused content, or previously charged periods

7. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension, forfeiture of access to all purchased content, and legal recovery of funds and associated costs.

8. Refund Process

To request a refund, please email us at the address below with the following information:

  • Full name used at the time of purchase

  • Email address registered on your account

  • Date of purchase and order or receipt number

  • Name of the product or service purchased

  • Detailed reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within five (5) business days. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within ten (10) business days of approval. Timing of receipt depends on your bank or card issuer.

9. Currency and Exchange Rates

All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). Approved refunds are processed in USD. Where your original payment was in a different currency, the refunded amount may differ from the original amount paid due to exchange rate fluctuations and any fees charged by your bank or card issuer. We are not responsible for differences arising from currency conversion.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Purchases made before an update are governed by the Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
